Spreading smiles this Season: Ewaade December Outreach
Last year’s annual December outreach was tagged “the average child in every slum”. The narrative of experiencing struggles and wishful longing during the festive season was changed for a lot of families in Iwaye community. We saw the faces of various family member’s light up and witnessed tears of gratitude for the simplest gifts.
This December however, Ewaade foundation is taking a different approach, we’re turning our focus to those who often struggle in the shadows- the visually impaired and widows in our community. Our mission is simple this year, we aim to make people smile by bringing joy, hope and essential provisions to the people who need it the most.
We don’t need grand gestures, even the simplest acts of kindness can ignite a spark of joy. Imagine the comfort of a nutritious meal shared with a loved one, or the gift of essential supplies that ease their daily struggles. This is what Ewaade Foundation aims to do this December.
It takes one man to dream, but it requires many other people to bring it to life, and just like last year’s outreach we need your helping hand. We invite you to be a part of this outreach, your contribution big or small can weave a brighter future for those who need it the most.
